Hill & Smith can customize the CANTILEVERGATE Range to suit every application, and tailor each product to satisfy individual requirements.
The CANTILEVERGATE range comprises of manually and semi-automatically operated gates through to fully automated systems.
Manual CANTILEVER gate
The gate is opened and closed by hand, and locked using a euro cylinder type Locinox lock and key.
Automated CANTILEVER gate
Powered by an electric three phase motor which opens and closes without supervision. This option can be controlled using various access control systems; swipe cards, remote control key fobs, ground loops, coded key pads, intercom systems, camera intercom systems, iris readers and finger print readers.
All automated gates come with a key switch fitted to the gate on the inside.

Leading edge safety strip
Contact with the safety strip immediately stops the movement of the gate.
Photo cells
The passage of the gate is controlled by photocells that detect an obstruction from pedestrians or vehicles, allowing safe opening and closing.
PLC (Programmable Logic Circuit board)
The PLC is the brains of the gate, allowing flexibility and enabling almost any access control function; intercom, swipe cards, coded key fobs etc., and can be programmed to meet virtually all requirements.
Audible warning and flashing safety light
Programmed to operate 1 second prior to opening and continuously during movement of the gate.
Automatic track cleaning system
Removes loose debris from inside the track using nylon brushes to assist smooth rolling action of the bearing wheel assembly.
Guide post safety strip
An additional safety feature, if contact is detected, the gate will stop immediately.
Audio, visual and keypad entry control.
A choice of multiple access control accessories can be installed on separate posts to enable optimum positioning for vehicle access.
